Tikvah Education Australia Pty Ltd identifies students who are at significant risk of not achieving their educational targets before the conclusion of their primary or secondary education. Our mission is to support highly disadvantaged students to achieve national standards for literacy and numeracy consistent with the National Literacy and Numeracy Learning Progressions (ACARA) , so they can experience greater confidence and success in secondary education. Our hope is that our students will pursue tertiary education or a trade and become highly productive and successful citizens of society.
Key Requirements

written approval for secondary employment (section 7.5 Code of Conduct)
teacher accreditation (minimum – graduate)
valid Working with Children Check

University Scholarship Fund projected to commence in 2024
Tikvah Education Australia’s teachers deliver evidence-based teaching practices to raise literacy and numeracy standards amongst educationally disadvantaged children and youth across Australia. Tikvah Education Australia is developing a scholarship program for university students undertaking a teaching degree to further increase teacher effectiveness as they enter their careers.
Eligibility Requirements
Minimum one year of study in an undergraduate education or teaching degree
receiving a credit average
studying full-time
Australian citizen
Professional Learning Opportunities

face-to-face and online teaching experience (work experience)
Provision of a mentor
